91 Points

Friday, December 25, 2015 - Christmas Day Dinner 2015 at Table At 7 (Table at 7): Note from memory. From magnum. Pop and poured. Drank over 3 hours.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, garnet colour. Legs.
Nose medium+ intensity, initial barnyard which blew off with swirling and revealed aromas of earth, sweet perfume, and some dark red cherries. Developed.
On the palate, dry, medium acidity, medium alcohol (13.5%), low tannins, medium- body. Medium flavour intensity, with flavours of earth and dark red cherry (fading). Medium finish.
Good quality NSG Premier Cru from a good maker. The palate does not hold up, but very lovely perfumy nose here. I was sniffing this throughout the night. Drink up now. Regular sized bottles of this poor vintage would probably already by dead by now. +1 point for the nose and surviving this long, albeit in magnum format.
