Friday, December 25, 2015 - Amber color with a bouquet and flavor of botrytis, but little else. Only modestly sweet. Lacking in definition, intensity, and nuance. Not very enjoyable, but I am beginning to think that I am not a fan of older Sauternes. I wonder what I will think of very old Sauternes?

12/31/2015 3:28:00 AM - Your description leads me to believe you had a flawed bottle. The color and taste profile of your bottle are very atypical of this wine. I hope you have the opportunity to try another bottle.
