Community Tasting Note

Tuesday, December 29, 2015 - Brief decant with little sediment. Clear Ruby in appearance. Initial nose of farmyard and leather. Beneath, layers of dry dusty potpourri, dried cranberry, blueberry with very ripe cassis notes. By no means jammy though. Flavors of black current and beef bouillon with a long finish. Mouth watering acid and a touch of tannin left on the palate. Very good quality.
