Tuesday, December 29, 2015 - Double decanted and stood in bottle for 4hrs. This wine is the epitome of a mature left bank bordeaux. Wonderfully expressive on the nose, perfect balance and still possessing a youthful vigor and intensity. Medium plus finish. A benchmark St Julien which is drinking at peak but will hold for many years to come.
