Friday, January 22, 2016 - Vinturried into a decanter and let sit for 2+ hours; appearance of dark ruby with a nose of fresh blueberries and boysenberries with some hints of cassis and dried violets. On the palate, am detecting a good amount of plums and blackberries with some espresso-like flavour that hovers around; some tannins are also evident and I think the decant time helped even the tannins out a bit. Medium bodied with a medium finish. Impressive 2nd label if you can find this on sale.
