Thursday, February 4, 2016 - Light golden color; classic character of German riesling taking on age - nose of lime zest, flowers, crushed stone and oil-based scents of an auto repair shop (in a nice way). Lithe on palate with crisp tension of acid and suppleness. Drier than a typical spatlese, decent finish. Changes very little (softens a bit) over two hours in the glass. No hurry here.
