Monday, February 15, 2016 - Nearly consistent with notes of 2015 (another Valentines Day occasion).
Decanted 2-1/2 hours. Concerned as cork came out in pieces with minute amount of seepage. Started rather tight through perfectly balanced. Over two hours softened to reveal nuanced cherry notes, coating the palate with an extended finish. Unctuous mouthfeel. Quite lovely. Last glass the best. That said, we question if worth its current auction value.
