Monday, February 22, 2016 - Busted open for Anniversary at Mastro's. Wonderfully smooth upon opening, and sublime after an hour decant. The wine looks purple colored with no sediment in the bottle. Nose of chocolate, forest floor, mineral, medium toast, vanilla, verbena, black currant (cassis) and blackberry. Flavors like black currant (cassis), blackberry, fig, mineral, vanilla, coffee, black pepper, verbena and chocolate. The body is full with very round texture, and nice long finish and medium acidity.
