Friday, March 4, 2016 - A big fan of Brane Cantenac of the 70s and 80s, was curious to try the 2000 vintage. Pnp and drank over about 2h this was open and ready from pulling the cork. Forest floor, sweet dark fruit, earth, some leather. Juicy and entirely ready in my eyes now, this was very pleasant but lacked a bit depth and complexity which I am not convinced more time in bottle will unearth. Another just slightly disappointing 2000.
