Monday, March 7, 2016 - Really nice bottle at the perfect age. Wonderful balance of both aromas and structure. On the nose immediate blackberry, green pepper, and baking spices. On the palate, more earthy and leathery in combination with the subtle fruit still remaining. Acids and tannins well resolved. Great accompaniment to our beef burgundy. As expected, plenty of sediment, so decant or pour carefully.
