Thursday, March 24, 2016 - Stunning nose of dark cherry perfume-so pure. The palate is lovely but not as beautiful as the nose. There was a complexity that I didn't get in the other 2001 Cabs in this tasting (Harlan Maiden, Seavey, Pahlmeyer , Caymus SS, Beringer Private Reserve) with only the Spottswood coming close. Still has tannins and plenty of fruit.
