Nice to find another classy Chardonnay from Western Oz. Liked this v much.

Big nose of creamy peaches, some wood.

Solid med body in mouth, peaches again, restrained oak (yeh!), good sound structure with enough acid. Enough power and charm here to cellar for a few more yrs. It'd be well worth it. Not as dry as I expected it to be. No matter, it's big and round and (almost) rich without being clumsy. Defo buy again. Better with food than without, I think.

VFM? At £16 not a bargain but not a rip off either. Will buy again - with one eye on the Australian harvest/vintage reports in Spectator.com
