Saturday, April 2, 2016 - It was that bad as I assumed on basis of other recent tastingnotes. Just when was popped open it had a bit too much barn on the nose but just half an hour on decanter got rid off it. Nose had some lovely dried red cherries, spicies and leather. On the palate it's medium bodied with smooth mouthfeel and nice acidity. The tannins are completely gone. It has seen it's better days but if you like mature wines, this isn't bad! Anyways have to say that this one went really well with fatty grilled Ibérico Pork Secreto.
