Tuesday, April 19, 2016 - Deep tar note, aged leather, and a deep prune with a tannic backbone structure. Definitely something needing a meat to help suppress the tannic spine and let flavors shine. Exceptional nose, fully developed, I can't see it getting any better but not an emergency. One of those wines that sits on the transition between a California Cab and a Bordeaux. Really a fun wine that I'd be happy to drink now till 2019.
