Wednesday, May 4, 2016 - PnP, and let warm a bit. Would never have guessed Sauvignon Blanc if tasted blind, but use of oak, and time on lees (stirred) have shifted the wine's presentation. Some floral notes on the nose from the viognier (10%), but no typical SB notes. Palate is heavier and rounder than expected, with stone fruits, a bit of lemon, some minerality, and acidity to balance. Should be good for another couple of years.
