Monday, May 30, 2016 - Like the sisters' Clos Vougeot, the 2004 Chaignots is also showing beautifully, and now seems to be the time to drink it. A sappy bouquet of red plums, earthy, spicy soil tones and a top note of blood orange peel is followed by a juicy, expansive wine with fully melted tannins and nice balancing acidity. Very expressive and appealing.
