Monday, June 6, 2016 - What's better than watching a chainsaw-wielding Bruce Campbell take on zombies? Watching Ash v. the Evil Dead with a bottle of the '01 Jamek Klaus. This is its usual fantastic self - in such a great place right now with youthful fruit, maturing smoky and brassy flavours, herbs, and vivid stony minerality all coming together seamlessly. The palate is fantastic - more polished than Ash's rosewood hand, and showing as much cut as that chainsaw. Groovy.
