Decanted for 2 hours at cellar temp I was surprised there is not much of a nose. I mean we had to sniff deeply to get some light rasberry notes. On the palate it had some sweet cherry fruit and over the evening was a pleasure to drink but not the blockbuster I was expecting. The tannins were not tight so I do hope that this improves with time in the bottle. Maybe it really is just shut down.
