Thursday, July 28, 2016 - Tried it just to get feel for it. Decanted for an hour in advance but could have used more. Deep garnet color, aroma of boysenberry, chocolate, earth and flint. Very muscular structure, tight tannins, black fruit and complex flavor so. Needs at least 5 years for tannins to knit and soften. Should be very nice in time.
