Thursday, August 11, 2016 - Purchased at the cellar door in CdP at the recommendation of the locals. Nose of kirsch and sweet red fruits with a touch of oak. Palate is full and balanced with good persistence. Classic high quality CdP profile and no doubt about the quality of the fruit here with the 2007 vintage conditions shining through. Drinking well and seems pretty complete currently - not sure I would wait too much longer to drink these bottles but an excellent wine drinking at the top of its curve.
