Tuesday, August 16, 2016 - The nose was incredibly rich and dark with sweat tobacco, spiced plums and brown sugar up front, followed by hints of dusty dried florals and hard red candies. On the palate, I found silky, medium-weight textures with tart cherry, black berry and red licorice. It finished dry with a palate saturating mix of intensely concentrated fruit, yet dropped off a little sooner than expected.

I must say that this was an unexpected performance. In the end, I wanted more from the finish and the palate lacked a bit of depth.
