Tuesday, August 16, 2016 - Very pleased. Opened this after a big WA syrah, thought to myself "bah, my palate is shot, I won't taste a thing..." and what a surprise. Lots of complexity on the nose, a fantastic "two level" mouthfeel that I've struggled to explain a couple times now, great structure, lots of fruit but with just a bit of the barnyard -- maybe that's where the 9% syrah went?
