Community Tasting Note

90 Points

Monday, September 5, 2016 - This is a bit difficult for the moment.
I can see great things shining trough but when will this intertwine?
Right on opening this is closed, the nose is all wood, nice though.
The core is very tight and the fruit is sub'dued.
Good thing it keeps some sort of balance and seems to open up a bit.
Has still a long way to go.
After an hour the fruit starts showing more, but the tanins realy keep in play (they do not bother though). it has enough of everything.
This will get better but give it a decade.

9/6/2016 12:04:00 AM - Thanks for your note and rating. Great to read. We have a case, and we have been targeting circa 2020 to sip. We tasted a bottle last year and wrote: "She came out swinging, departed in a similar manner and left us waiting and wanting for more...in and about 4 years.

Maybe wait just that bit more, I don't have many bottles of this but will be holding on to them, cause obiously they will get better.
You're lucky to have bought a case it's beauty in the making.
But bordeaux '09 or '10 are in general great wines.
I will be lookin' at your findings in a couple of years ;-)
