90 Points

Friday, September 23, 2016 - From 75cl, DIAM 5 closure which, unlike the one in my previous bottle (three days ago, same restaurant, from same case of wine stored in the same fridge) hasn't yet led to any obvious deterioration. No bitterness, no muscat-grapey notes, but all the positive grip, concentration and acid verve previously noted. If the producer wants to eliminate bottle variation, then screwcap might be worth a try; not the first time I have despaired at the degree of bottle variation under DIAM. Oh, the wine was delicious. 90P
