Tuesday, October 4, 2016 - A decent sparkling wine for a low-key celebration. Strong hints of Granny Smith apple on the nose, with a whiff of old fashioned ladies' perfume. Mostly apple cider at the start with a little too much bite mid-way through. Finish is quite tart at first, although it gets better with drinking. Not overly dry. Would be well-matched with salmon blini or similar.
