Saturday, October 15, 2016 - Winebid purchase.

Bright, light gold color. Pretty sparkle and sheen. Doesn't look like an 18 year old Calif. chardonnay...

Complex nose of almonds, baked apples, minerals and lanolin.

Nice weight and balance on the palate. Long finish. Flavors more on the citrus side. Very good with salmon.

Who says Calif. chardonnays can't age well? Kudos to Robert Mondavi Winery.
