Wednesday, October 19, 2016 - Vega Sicilia Unico Dinner with Pablo Alvarez (Betony): Very lively and showy. Savoury with elegant and highly expressive florals. Soft strawberry. That is an awesome nose. Immensely flavourful on the palate. Developing tertiary maple flavours but still delivering solid red fruit. Light but textured and ever intriguing. Superior to the 1924. Kept this special bottle.
