Saturday, November 26, 2016 - I think this wine has hit its sweet spot now. Although the color doesn't show signs of ageing yet with a dark ruby color and maybe some slight hints of amber at the rim. The aromas show fresh cherry, some leather and hints of laurel and candied fruit. Full bodied on the palate with well integrated and smooth tannins, balanced acidity and some sweet fruit. The finish keeps on lingering although it turns slightly bitter.

This wine will last for quite some years, but I don't think it will improve much anymore.
