Sunday, November 27, 2016 - Jonathan T's Oct note captures this wine very well. Has the RRV old vine siganture that really only Carlisle and a couple others choose to display through vineyard selection. Wine was in a wonderful spot, the '09s across Papera/Carlisle Vin/Montafi etc have been so good and the structure carried then so showing peak performance now. Rich flavor but more lithe mouthfeel. Excellent. Relative to the Papera, which I opened now so long ago, this is a darker wine.
