Saturday, February 2, 2008 - I've loved this wine from Day One. It has been a little bit controversial with others, who have either loved or hated it. It went through a major hibernation phase for several years. But now it is really blooming beautifully. Last night was its best showing yet. The fruit is just so pure and ripe, with strawberries and raspberries overflowing from the Riedel vinum glass. The color was typically St. Estephe deep ruby/purple, it was really showing so much more of everything on the nose and palate than it did as recently as a year ago. I thought it was stunning last night. Rating: 92 points.
