Thursday, December 29, 2016 - Nose of textbook Giacosa dark cherries and herbs, color is purple, the tannins are still dusty but the backbone is there with excellent core of fruit - especially cherries. The wine, while delicious still is in its infancy. It will develop for decades to go still. Feel free to open and enjoy but this will be even better in a decade or two.
