Sunday, January 1, 2017 - The gem was the absolute star of our tasting menu and the clear winner. With no sediment it looked almost obsidian and had legs for days. It smelled of cherry syrup and on the tongue it exerted an almost perfectly balanced and not overpowering taste of dried fig and cherry. The finish was silky and went on for what seemed like forever.
