95 Points

Saturday, June 9, 2001 - Consumed at P.S. Grill in the Venetian Hotel, the bottle being provided from my cellar. Opaque ruby with brick rim. Moderate sediment. Complex nose of smokey raspberry, vanilla, cedar and chocolate. Full-bodied on palate, with similar flavors as nose and plentiful, supple tannins. Long, smooth finish. Classic Lynch-Bages, drinking beautifully now. Plenty of fruit to hold for several more years.
