Monday, January 9, 2017 - There's not too much Mazuelo in this wine and if there was it wasn't the dominate flavor. This is classic Spanish Grenacha for those you like which with good structure and plenty of leathery notes.

My personal preference is more dominant Mazuelo since there are so much Grenache based wine all over the world. When Priorat is done right the Mazuelo really shines. This wine is good but not spectacular.
