Tuesday, January 17, 2017 - This bottle still seemed pretty young. Black cherry, plum, iodine, wet earth, forest vegetation, a little cranberry, and a hint of bacon fat on the nose. Black and red cherry, earth, spice, plum, and minerals on the palate. Decent acidity, nice earthy aftertaste, mostly integrated tannins. At once modern and forward and also a bit light in mid-palate to finish. Hard to complain at $20.
