91 Points

Sunday, December 18, 2016 - Fine White Wine Tasting (Oinoscent): Bright and clear nose showing peach and apricot notes (which I did not expect), floral, the oak stands in the back and comes in waves of nutty nuances. In the palate is again very impressive, bright fruit, nice acidity extrovert, mouthwatering acidity, med+ body and intensity with med to long finish.
Outstanding quality. A fellow claimed that it showed atypical signs of oxidation transformed and expressed as honey/ripe fruit character. Overall, it felt as something Mouton Rothschild would make.

5/25/2017 6:18:00 PM - Greetings Sir, I work for the Rothschilds in England, and regularly taste Aile d'argent. I remember reading a very high score from a well published critic, regarding the 2013. And I just didn't see it, in fact I scored it low 90's as I believe you have. About two weeks ago I met the 2013 again, once with veal, and twice as an aperitif. After being open for a few hours and at almost 15 degrees it transformed into a show stopper. It's knocking mid 90's now. So complete and well balanced. If you're in the UK and fancy tasting it again let me know. I look after 13k bottles of Lafite going back to 1870, and mouton to 1868. Be nice to show you the collections
