Saturday, February 18, 2017 - Ditto other reviews regarding oxidization and lack of fizz. Amber color with minimal pop on cork release. Nose still shows a ramped DP toasty note and more caramel and burnt sugar and toast most likely due to ox. Palate is heavy and chenin like yet with fizz. There is still some good things to be found like a super toasty note, some nutty notes, more honeyed nuance and molasses. Again clearly not meant to be this way but not doa either.
