Tuesday, February 28, 2017 - Tasted at a private tasting with the entire 2015 horizontal. Just recently bottled, so all of the Franny Beck Wines were a little tight. I thought the La Chenaie was the wine of the night - others at the tasting mirrored this opinion. Very elegant and complex, and it seemed to capture all the traits of a solid age-worthy pinot noir. Look to revisit in 2020+. These new single vineyard offerings are very exciting!
