Saturday, March 11, 2017 - I have always enjoyed this vintage of Brane-Cantenac. Showing a bit more evolution than the previous bottle from two years ago. Fruit is still at the forefront, with black currant and black cherry. The aromatics round out nicely with truffle, coffee, leather, cedar, and some earthy funk. Nice medium weight on the palate, with smooth tannins. Medium-plus length on the finish. Acidity showing a bit more but balances nicely.
