Tuesday, March 14, 2017 - I may have been a little generous with the score last time. At eleven years of age this is still evolving. Impenetrable black in colour with dark red edges, starting to throw a bit of skin in the bottle but showing very little sediment in the glass. Bold fruit, with flavours of chocolate, licorice, coconut and old French oak. Some Coonawarra mint/eucalypt/menthol but not dominating. Full body with lingering length and lovely mouthfeel. I look forward to further bottle development in the years to come. 94+
