My first of four bottles: this is certainly in its drinking window, but seems as though it could stand a bit more evolution. The bottle is so ridiculously big and heavy for a .750 that one expects a bigger, heavier wine, but this is, after all, a Tempranillo, and the grape only goes so far in that direction. I like this a lot but wanted to like it more. Very solid, and quite good, but not a Wow wine for me. Like all Tempranillos, great with food, and it stood up equally well to the spicy meat and the creamy roast Yukon Gold potatoes. Drink or hold.
