Tuesday, March 21, 2017 - my first Alban. Splurged on wines at Aureole in Las Vegas and I wanted to try one. Not disappointed, excellent, Mineral smokey dark fruits, smooth, good depth. The wine list is amazing, but pricey. Food was good, not on a par with the wines. We also had a 1991 German riesling that was perfect and a Kathryn Kennedy 1983 Cab. Yes a 1983, 94pts, bricking a little, boudeaux barnyard at first, but just got better and better in the glass.
