Wednesday, March 22, 2017 - The back label describes the wine as having "taut freshness" and I can't argue with that! This has a weight and balance that certainly sets it apart from Champagne (despite the use of all three main varieties in the blend), crisp lemon zest, green apple and berry fruits pairing with the rich, biscuity texture and very fine mousse. A wine of great purity and concentration. Exemplary fizz! ****1/2
