Thursday, February 21, 2008 - Straw yellow, looks like a chardonnay (duh). Bouquet is quite nice, but unique and I can't identify anything it reminds me of. On the palate, it was much better at about 60 degrees than colder. Not much acidiity or tartness, nice balance between the fruit and oak / honey flavors. It's holding up pretty well for a 5 year old chardonnay. It paired nicely with chicken soup and baked chicken, and it's also very nice by itself. Good QPR at 11.50.
