Saturday, April 1, 2017 - Opened with a crumbly cork, but that Grenache driven, barnyard nose was a signal that we were ok. Cloudy and bricking at the edges. First taste confirmed that fruit was well intact. Tart cherries dominating and tannins fully integrated. So much better than I expected. Paired up with some roast chicken, it really was enjoyable. Tart flavors receded, revealing more smoky, earth notes. If you sill have bottles, yank that cork and enjoy.
