Monday, May 1, 2017 - Interesting nose - almost floral, wet hay but fairly faint overall. Nose was indicative of the wine...everything seems subdued. I'm usually very happy with the flavor profile of Cowhorn Syrah but this one fell a little flat - muddled through the mid palate and not much length on the finish. Started opening up a bit more after a couple hours. Try giving this one a longer decant next time.
