Monday, May 8, 2017 - Subtle amber on the perimeter. Oiled leather, old world notes, eucalyptus and red currant. Soft tannins, long finish. Bloody red meat, blueberry, mint and violet evolve as the wine opens up. Ash, charred pepper, saddlewood, cedar and loads of cigar box. Enjoyed seeing this wine evolve throughout dinner.
