Apparently they become so spoiled on super high-end wines that that really nice bottles like this are inferior to them. I'm very happy that I can drink and appreciate wines "for the rest of us." That's not a hit on Masters of Wine, though, as it's more a statement of my lack of experience with truly nice wines. I thought this was a fantastic wine with strong potential. We tasted it at the winery alongside three vintages of the Rendezvous, which were also a fantastic wines. 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Cabernet Franc, and 20% Merlot.
