Friday, June 9, 2017 - Super sweet and seductive fruit of red and mostly dark berries (black currant, black cherries), floral notes too (like candied flowers), tobacco, some sweet spices, espresso, minerality and plenty of other things going on. It's medium-full bodied, with medium acidity and medium+ tannin. Everything is beautifully balanced and leaves the impression of total harmony and elegance. It's like a stereotypical Château Margaux (finesse) with an extra layer of fruit. Excellent length. Everybody was super impressed. A real 1er Cru from this freakish vintage...
