Saturday, June 17, 2017 - After reading about this wine in the New York Times, I was anxious to try it. It is indeed a refreshing, light, easy drinking summery sort of wine. Given the lack of complexity here I'm surprised people seem to embrace it so; for me, it's not necessarily any better than a number of other light bodied French reds, like Les Hérétiques. But I do often like wines of this type, and "the cat" will definitely be one I'd go back to when I'm in that type of wine mood.
